Speaker 1:

It's the lightning round Brought to you by Trench Leadership, a podcast from the front. Guests on Trench Leadership are asked five random leadership-related questions with the goal of having a little fun, being a little self-reflective and connect with the listeners on a more personal level and without further ado let's get to the questions.

Speaker 3:

I'm ready when you are. Let's do this Question number one.

Speaker 2:

What is your favorite leadership?

Speaker 3:

word Impact. Question number two cup half full or cup half empty?

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's always half full for me. I'm an eternal optimist.

Speaker 3:

I love it. Question number three who do you look to for leadership inspiration?

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, so many people. I feel like I'm all about Adam Grant right now. I mean, obviously, old school. Back in the day I was a huge Tony Robbins fan because he is like mindset. He's specialties in neuro linguistic programming, like me. So he does a lot of state work. But yeah, I think right now I'm starting to follow Adam Grant's work and I'm loving it. So that's really who I'm looking at right now starting to follow Adam Grant's work and I'm loving it.

Speaker 3:

So that's really who I'm looking at right now. Excellent. Question number four what would you like to improve about your leadership?

Speaker 2:

style. I think I got to rein it in a little bit. I'm a super extrovert and so and I'm obviously so passionate and I used to have the same problem in hockey when I couldn't write it and I take really bad penalties. I was a little too passionate, um, but I feel like maybe that's, that's that calibration thing, right where it's like I can get a little too excited and then some introverts, you know that, just doesn't hit them the right way. So I'm learning how to sort of find that that sweet spot.

Speaker 3:

Okay, fantastic. If only we were talking about finding that sweet spot Amazing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3:

And the final question what do you think is your leadership strength?

Speaker 2:

I'd say my strength is that I'm an empath. So I definitely, yeah, I just embody a lot of empathy. Naturally, I was born that way and so I feel like I was born for this mission and bringing this leadership 2.0 thing to the forefront right now. It's not lost on me that I was born in this time when all this is happening, but I think that's what makes me, I'd say my, my, my empathy and my intuition, because those are the superpowers of being an empath. We're really highly sensitive people but, yeah, I think that's it sets me up to be able to help and serve so many people. So it's definitely my, my superpower and the thing I'm most proud of.

Speaker 3:

Fantastic, and that was it. That was the lightning round.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that was good. It wasn't hard at all. No, you did great.

Speaker 3:

You did fantastic, no trouble at all.

Speaker 1:

That's it. That's all you have been treated to five leadership related questions and the responses from this week's guest. We hope you have enjoyed this edition of the Lightning Round brought to you by Trench Leadership, a podcast from the front. Take care and remember.
