Speaker 2:That's a perfect way to round this out, and roll us into the lightning round.
Speaker 3:Are you ready to go?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm excited, all right. Question number one what is your favorite leadership word Together?
Speaker 3:Your favorite leadership word?
Speaker 2:Together. Question number two cup half full or cup half empty Depends on the day Question number three who do you look to for leadership inspiration?
Speaker 3:I look to several people If I'm looking for personal leadership, personal guidance. I had incredible, loving, amazing parents who I'm actually able to have a really open and honest relationship with, and they provide really open and honest answers In my personal life. I go to them. I have two mentors, one that I worked with at my corporate job and then one that I am on my entrepreneurial journey with, and those are those are women that I know and trust and I know that, whether I'm going to like the answer or not, they're not going to, they're not going to talk shit. They're literally just going to tell me hey, here's the answer. You don't have to like it, but this is what it is and I I really appreciate that.
Speaker 2:Question number four what would you like to improve about your leadership style?
Speaker 3:I am always looking for ways to become a better listener. Looking for ways to become a better listener. Something that's really important to me is not just listening for my turn to talk. It's listening to understand the person and where they're coming from and their lived experience. So, while my brain is rapid firing right, like I'm constantly thinking of the next thing to say or how to answer the question, focusing on really slowing that down and not waiting for my turn to talk and really listening to the people that I'm with, that's something that I am constantly looking to improve.
Speaker 2:And the final question what do you think is your leadership strength?
Speaker 3:is your leadership strength. I have an incredibly innate and unique ability to get people to buy into me. My transparency and the systems that I've created magnetize my team members to me. That is something that can be challenging. It can be challenging for a lot of people and I've developed a really unique and special way of doing that and I have I just have a thing, and it sort of it magnetizes people and I'm very, very grateful. It's not without work, it's not without practice, but I do have a very special gift. Great, thank you so much. That's it. That's the without practice, but I do have a very special gift.
Speaker 2:Great. Thank you so much. That's it. That's the lightning round. You did great.
Speaker 3:Thanks, appreciate it. I love a lightning round.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, I've got, I've. I enjoy doing that. Uh, I've tailored the questions a little more to make it more lightning round ask. In the past Some of the questions weren't that case, but this time it was really good, so thank you so much for that time.
Speaker 1:it was really good. So thank you so much for that. That's it. That's all you have been treated to five leadership related questions and the responses from this week's guest.
