Speaker 1:

It's the lightning round Brought to you by Trench Leadership, a podcast from the front. Guests on Trench Leadership are asked five random leadership-related questions with the goal of having a little fun, being a little self-reflective and connect with the listeners on a more personal level and without further ado let's get to the questions, and this now feels like a great time for us to roll into the lightning round.

Speaker 2:

What do you think about that? Yeah, you got this. You're good, you're ready to go, all right. Question number one what is your favorite leadership word Leverage. Okay, question number two who do you look to for leadership inspiration? My clients?

Speaker 3:

Okay, question three Cup half full or cup half empty. I like to say I'm a realist, which is that the cup is half full if you're drinking and cup is half empty if you're pulling it out, if you're like pouring it out like it's both, it's neither and both at the same time all right fantastic all depends on what you're trying to do.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely Absolutely. Question number four what would you like to improve about your leadership style?

Speaker 3:

I have a very strong personality, and that means that I'm not going to be a match for all other personalities, and so I wish, in an effort to help more people, I could learn to be slightly less this, only to be able to mirror them and help them.

Speaker 2:

Okay, and the final question what do you think is your leadership strength?

Speaker 3:

So a friend of mine has a podcast and it's a lawyer podcast, but she's working also with leaders and her question is what is your superpower? And my answer was that I could speak confidently pretty much about anything, and so that is one of my leadership strengths that I can speak with confidence and that helps people follow, because if'm confident, they're confident in me.

Speaker 2:

Well, people get inspired by that and they will rally behind confidence for sure. Well, thank you so much. That was the lightning round. You did great. How are you feeling about it?

Speaker 3:

Good, aside from my answer about the water thing, because I realized both of them were half empty and I should have said water going in. But that's cool. I thought I was going to get lightning round questions about favorite books and movies and stuff.

Speaker 2:

No way that's. I do that on purpose, so that people kind of get thrown out of whack.

Speaker 3:

About the bugs life.

Speaker 1:

That's it. That's all you have been treated to five leadership related questions and the responses from this week's guest. We hope you have enjoyed this edition of the lightning round brought to you by Trench Leadership, a podcast from the front. Take care and remember. Leadership without passion limits the depth of your vision.
